About Peter Lederman

Peter H. Lederman is a partner at Lomurro Munson LLC certified by the New Jersey Supreme Court as a Municipal Court Attorney. His practice has been limited exclusively to representing defendants charged with Driving While Intoxicated for more than 35 years, during which time he has represented more than 4,000 defendants. He earned his J.D. from Fordham University School of Law in 1974 and his B.A. from Franklin and Marshall College in 1969.

He served as Municipal Prosecutor in Piscataway Township from 1984 through 1987 and chairs the Middlesex County Bar Association's Ad Hoc Committee on Municipal Court Reform. He argued State v. Chun before the New Jersey Supreme Court, a landmark matter concerning the admissibility of the Alcotest 7110 MK-III breath test device, and served as co-lead counsel in State v. Foley on breath test device standards. The Middlesex County Bar Association named him its Outstanding Municipal Court Practitioner in 2006.
