Richard Galex

Richard Galex is a partner at Lomurro Munson LLC specializing in medical malpractice, personal injury, product defect litigation, consumer fraud, and consumer class action litigation. He was certified by the New Jersey Supreme Court as a Civil Trial Attorney in 1985 and has been continuously recertified. He has recovered more than $60 million for asbestos victims throughout New Jersey and internationally. His advocacy before the New Jersey Supreme Court in Perez v. Wyeth-Ayerst established that a patient influenced by direct-to-consumer advertising is entitled to warnings from the drug company directly, overriding the learned intermediary rule in such circumstances.

He is admitted to practice in New Jersey, Florida, Ohio, Texas, and the U.S. Virgin Islands, as well as in the U.S. Supreme Court and multiple federal district courts. He is a nationally recognized authority on tort law who has contributed to Smart Money Magazine, appeared on the CBS Evening News, and been quoted in publications throughout Europe. He is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and has been an Emeritus member of the New Jersey Bar since 2010.
