Matthew Heimlich

Matthew R. Heimlich is a Partner at Malman Law in Chicago who represents victims and their families in nursing home negligence, medical malpractice, and personal injury cases throughout Illinois. He earned his J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 2009 after completing a B.A. in Political Science at Miami University in 2006. Before joining Malman Law, he worked at a defense litigation firm representing nursing facilities, giving him insight into both sides of these cases. He has achieved six- and seven-figure settlements and verdicts, including a $1,000,000+ verdict in a bedsores case and a $588,000 verdict for a nursing home fall causing hip fracture. He co-hosts the 'On Trial' podcast and has presented multiple CLEs on nursing home litigation.
