Matthew Scoles

Matthew C. Scoles is an Associate Attorney at Malman Law in Chicago, bringing extensive experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants in personal injury litigation. Licensed in Illinois since 2017, Matt is widely recognized for his tireless work ethic, sharp advocacy, and unwavering commitment to client care. Over the course of his career, he has handled more than 1,500 arbitrations and secured over 60 jury trial verdicts across Cook, DuPage, Kane, Lake, McHenry, and Will Counties, and has successfully negotiated millions of dollars in settlements for his clients. Born and raised in Canton, Ohio, Matt earned his B.A. in Psychology before working in a variety of fields, including supporting adults with developmental disabilities. He moved to Chicago to pursue his J.D. at The John Marshall Law School, where he was active in the Fair Housing Clinic and competed in the National Veterans Moot Court Competition in Washington, D.C.
