Richard Carolan

Richard Carolan is an associate at McKeen & Associates, bringing nearly four decades of legal experience to the firm since joining in 2026. Over his career, Richard has spent 29 years representing victims of personal injury, employment discrimination, and medical malpractice, as well as 10 years on the defense side handling claims involving fraudulent medical practices and devices, primarily those involving brain and neurological injuries. He has practiced throughout Michigan, Ohio, and Kentucky, as well as in federal courts, and has tried approximately 100 cases in both state and federal courts. Richard has also successfully argued cases before state and federal appellate courts involving medical malpractice, pharmaceutical liability, and premises liability. He earned his J.D. from Wayne State University Law School and his B.A. in Humanities from Michigan State University.
