Christopher Nace

Christopher T. Nace handles all practice areas of the firm, including medical malpractice, drug and product liability, motor vehicle accidents, wrongful death, and other personal injury matters. He has tried numerous medical malpractice cases to jury verdict in Washington, D.C., Maryland, and West Virginia. Chris was born in Washington, D.C. and graduated from Georgetown University with a degree in Government in 1998. In 2003, he graduated from Emory University School of Law, where he served as Editor-in-Chief of the Emory Law Journal, and also earned an MBA from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University. While enrolled in the JD/MBA Program, he was recognized as the Rothfeder Family Scholar and received the Emory School of Law Dean's Public Service Award.

Chris is an elected national officer of the American Association for Justice, currently serving as AAJ Secretary. He is a Past President of the Trial Lawyers Association of Metropolitan Washington, D.C. and the National Civil Justice Institute, and a past recipient of AAJ's Distinguished Service Award (three times), the Wiedemann Wysocki Award, the Heavy Lifting Award, the 2019 Joe Tonahill Award, the 2021 Howard Twiggs Award, the 2022 Pro Bono Award, and the 2023 Elise Sanguinetti Award. He has been recognized by Best Lawyers (Lawyer of the Year, 2022 and 2025), Super Lawyers, Washingtonian Magazine, The National Trial Lawyers Top 100, and Lawdragon 500 Leading Plaintiff Consumer Lawyers. In 2023, the Trial Lawyers Association of Metropolitan Washington, D.C. named him its Barry J. Nace Trial Lawyer of the Year.
