Brooke Carickhoff focuses her practice on representing clients who have suffered catastrophic injuries due to medical malpractice and hospital negligence. She has a unique perspective on medical malpractice law - before joining Saltz Mongeluzzi Bendesky, Brooke was a trial attorney at a leading regional defense firm where she represented Philadelphia-area hospitals and physicians in complex medical malpractice actions. These cases involved birth injuries, strokes, cancer diagnoses, neurosurgery, heart surgery, and anesthesiology. Brooke is actively involved in the Pennsylvania community.
She was appointed by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court as a board member on the Pennsylvania Commission for Fairness & Justice. She is also a board editor for the Lexis Nexus Practice Guide on Pennsylvania Civil Trial Practice and the Ohlbaum on the Pennsylvania Rules of Evidence .
