Jarmeika Taylor

Jarmeika L. Taylor is an attorney at Schiller Law Offices in Carmel, Indiana, and a U.S. Army National Guard Veteran. She has built her legal career on service, advocacy, and supporting fellow Veterans. Her military service spanned more than a decade across the Missouri, Indiana, and Illinois Army National Guard, where she served as a Retention NCO and Fuel Section Sergeant. Her service included deployment to Iraq and participation in Hurricane Katrina relief efforts.

Taylor began her legal career assisting Veterans with VA benefits claims at Tabak Law, where she reviewed rating decisions, managed a team of paralegals, and drafted appeals. She later served at Indiana Legal Services, representing clients in eviction hearings and organizing landlord-tenant clinics across Indianapolis courts. She continued Veterans advocacy as a staff attorney with the Veterans Advocacy Project, working on discharge upgrades. Most recently, she served as an Attorney-Advisor at the Department of Veterans Affairs, drafting decisions for Veterans Law Judges at the Board of Veterans' Appeals.

In addition to her Veterans-focused work, Taylor has expanded her practice to include personal injury and workers' compensation law. She is licensed to practice in Indiana.
