Caitlin Finnegan

Caitlin K. Finnegan earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2008 and a Juris Doctor with a Certificate in Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution from Chicago-Kent College of Law in 2013. She was admitted to the Illinois bar in 2013 and joined Schwartz Jambois shortly thereafter. Finnegan concentrates her practice on medical malpractice, wrongful death, nursing home negligence, and personal injury matters.

She has obtained more than $25 million in settlements for clients throughout Illinois. Law Bulletin's Leading Lawyers Division recognized her as an Emerging Lawyer, an honor limited to fewer than two percent of Illinois attorneys. Her notable results include an $11.65 million recovery for injuries caused by improper powerline maintenance, a $2.4 million settlement for a death in an assisted living facility, and a $1.375 million settlement for a death from combined medical malpractice and nursing home negligence.
