About Rick Zurz

Richard "Rick" Zurz is a Partner and Managing Partner at Slater & Zurz LLP, which he co-founded. A seasoned trial lawyer with more than 40 years of experience since launching his career in 1982, he has been recognized as one of Ohio's leading litigators. His practice focuses on personal injury, wrongful death, commercial litigation, and mass torts.

Zurz earned his Bachelor of Science from Bowling Green State University, his Juris Doctor from The University of Akron School of Law, and a Master of Taxation, also from the University of Akron.

His commitment to justice was shaped by family heritage: his father and grandfather were both judges. Outside the practice, he coaches youth athletics and is an avid cyclist.
