About Eric Subin

Eric Subin is a trial attorney with a background in international law and complex civil litigation. As Principal Trial Attorney at Subin Law, he leads the firm's personal injury, civil rights, and emerging-technology practice. After earning his B.A. from Emory University and his J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, he pursued additional studies at the University of Oxford and the Cayman Islands Law School. His first major litigation experience came through work with the Office of the Prosecutor at The Hague during the prosecution of former Liberian President Charles Taylor, who was convicted of 11 counts of war crimes in 2011.

He later advised corporate clients at DeHeng Law Group in Beijing on GATT compliance. In 2012, Eric joined his family's New York firm, Subin Associates LLP, where he built a record in police misconduct, catastrophic injury, wrongful death, and complex liability matters. Over the following decade he secured more than $200 million in verdicts and settlements, including a $102 million Child Victims Act award and jury verdicts of $17 million and $14.5 million against the Metropolitan Transportation Authority. He has been named to the New York Metro Super Lawyers list and the National Trial Lawyers Top 40 Under 40, and his work has been featured in The New York Times, CBS, and the New York Law Journal.
