Dale Swope

Dale Swope is Managing Partner of Swope, Rodante P.A., which grew from a solo practice he founded six months out of law school in 1979. A Tampa native and graduate of Hillsborough High School, the University of South Florida, and the University of Florida Levin College of Law, he is the firm's most senior attorney. He has been Board Certified in Civil Trial Law by the Florida Bar since 1992 and was previously Board Certified as a Business Litigation Specialist from 1995 to 2005. He holds an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell and a Superb rating from AVVO, has been named a Super Lawyer, and is listed in Best Lawyers in America since 2005.

He was the original incorporator of the Tampa Bay Trial Lawyers Association and served as President of the Florida Justice Association in 2017-2018. He is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates and the American Law Institute. His practice focuses on medical malpractice, insurance bad faith, and personal injury.
