About Scott Turner

Scott Turner is an Associate Attorney at Tawney, Acosta & Chaparro, P.C., specializing in personal injury law.

Turner earned his Juris Doctor from the University of New Mexico School of Law in 2025, where he received Clinical Honors in the Natural Resources and Environmental Law Clinic and served as Manuscript Editor of the Natural Resources Journal. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in History from New Mexico State University in 2021, with Distinction in University Honors and a minor in Public Law, graduating as a Crimson Scholar and Honors Program Graduate. He is admitted to the State Bar of New Mexico.

During law school, Turner served as a clinical fellow in the Marshall-Brennan Constitutional Literacy Project and as a moot court and mock trial coach. He worked as a pre-bar law clerk at the firm before becoming an associate.
