Hala Abdel-Jaber

Hala Abdel-Jaber is an Associate Attorney at Tawney, Acosta & Chaparro P.C., representing clients across Texas and New Mexico in personal injury and civil litigation.

Abdel-Jaber earned her Juris Doctor from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law and her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from The University of Texas at El Paso. She is admitted to the State Bars of Texas (2022) and New Mexico (2023), and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas (2024).

A first-generation American and El Paso native, Abdel-Jaber is fluent in English, Arabic, and Spanish. She previously practiced as a defense attorney and successfully tried multiple cases to verdict. She has been named a Texas Super Lawyers Rising Star (2024, 2025) and served as a commissioner on the City of El Paso City Service Commission.
