Acosta earned his Juris Doctor from the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law at Arizona State University in 2008 and his undergraduate degree from St. Mary's University in 2004. He is admitted to the State Bars of Texas (2008), New Mexico (2011), and Arizona, and to the U.S. District Courts for the District of New Mexico and the Western District of Texas.
