Christopher Burns

Christopher G. Burns is a Florida bicycle accident attorney and advocate for cyclists' rights, with over 35 years of experience and hundreds of successfully resolved bicycle-related cases statewide. He earned his B.A. from Purdue University and Kalamazoo College (1982) and his J.D. from Vanderbilt University (1985), and was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1985. An avid cyclist himself, Chris has experienced three significant crashes over his decades on the road, giving him firsthand understanding of the physical and emotional toll cyclists face.

He represents clients throughout Florida and provides referrals to bicycle accident attorneys nationwide for out-of-state clients. Chris has served as President of the Jacksonville Justice Association (2005), as Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Jacksonville Country Day School, and as Chairman of the Sports Entertainment Board for the Jacksonville Economic Development Commission.
