About Gretchen Myers

Gretchen Myers is the founder of The Law Offices of Gretchen Myers, P.C. in St. Louis, Missouri, where she practices personal injury law. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in honors economics and political science from the University of Missouri in Columbia in 1981 and a Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri in 1984, where she was a member of the Missouri Law Review. After law school she clerked for the Honorable James H. Meredith, a United States federal district judge for the Eastern District of Missouri. She is licensed to practice in Missouri, Illinois, and California. Her practice focuses on catastrophic trucking accident cases, product liability, wrongful death, and medical negligence claims, including hospital negligence, surgical errors, emergency room errors, and delayed diagnosis or misdiagnosis.

In 2014, Best Lawyers in America named her Lawyer of the Year for medical malpractice law representing plaintiffs. She has received the Lon O. Hocker Award from the Missouri Bar, the Honorary Order of the Barristers Award from the University of Missouri, and the Daily Record Justice Award, and she is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum. She was named to the Missouri Lawyers Media Power List in 2022 and 2023. Myers is president-elect of the Association of Plaintiff Interstate Trucking Lawyers of America, the first woman selected to serve in that role, and a past president of the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys and the Women Lawyers' Association of Greater St. Louis.
