About John Simon

John G. Simon founded The Simon Law Firm in 2001 and has built a record of courtroom victories across three decades of practice. The National Law Journal named his firm one of the "winningest firms" in the United States. In roughly 20 months, his firm achieved four nine-figure verdicts totaling nearly $2 billion. His landmark results include a $745 million wrongful-death verdict against a nitrous-oxide manufacturer, a $535 million verdict for a sexual-assault victim at a behavioral health facility (the largest such award in Illinois history), and a $462 million verdict in a trucking underride-guard case. He obtained his J.D. from Saint Louis University School of Law in 1986 and has taught Trial Advocacy there as an adjunct professor for more than 25 years. He was inducted into the Inner Circle of Advocates in 2014 and has been voted Missouri's number-one lawyer by Super Lawyers peers for seven consecutive years. In 2025, Missouri Lawyers Media named him Influential Lawyer of the Year. He is a past president of the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis.
