About Timothy Cronin

Timothy M. Cronin is a trial lawyer who has recovered more than $800 million for injury victims across a career focused on medical malpractice, product liability, premises liability, trucking litigation, and catastrophic personal injury. In 2024, he served as lead trial counsel in the $535 million verdict for a sexual-assault victim at a behavioral health facility, the largest verdict in Illinois state history for a single plaintiff. In 2016, he was lead counsel in a $17.6 million verdict that helped drive reform to opioid prescribing practices nationwide. In 2018, he was chief trial lawyer in a $12.5 million verdict for Heisman Trophy winner Reggie Bush against Stan Kroenke and the Rams, and secured an $18.26 million verdict for a child discharged from a hospital three times while suffering from E. coli.

In 2025, he served as co-counsel in a $27.5 million verdict for a motorcyclist injured in Illinois. He has obtained verdicts or settlements exceeding $1 million for clients on 50 separate occasions. He earned his undergraduate degree in economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and his J.D. from Saint Louis University School of Law. He serves as an adjunct professor in Trial Advocacy at Saint Louis University School of Law and received the Missouri Bar Foundation's Lon O. Hocker Award in 2022.
