About Elizabeth Lenivy

Elizabeth S. Lenivy focuses her practice on product liability, medical malpractice, and personal injury cases on behalf of plaintiffs in Missouri and Illinois. Before joining Simon Law in 2016, she worked in insurance defense at a local firm, gaining insight into the strategies used by defendants and insurers. Since joining the firm, she has tried multiple cases to verdict, including complex medical malpractice and product liability matters, and has argued before the Missouri Court of Appeals and submitted briefs to the Missouri Supreme Court and the Eighth Circuit. Her results include a $7 million wrongful-death medical malpractice settlement and multiple additional medical malpractice settlements ranging from $1 million to $6.75 million.

She holds leadership positions in several bar organizations, provides pro bono services through Legal Services of Eastern Missouri, and serves as a board member of the Gateway Korea Foundation, representing the Korean American community in St. Louis. As a first-generation American and the first attorney in her family, she takes pride in her dual Korean and American heritage. She earned her law degree from Saint Louis University School of Law, admitted in 2015 in Missouri.
