About Kristen Weaver

Kristen Weaver joined Trust Guss Injury Lawyers in 2019 and serves as a senior litigation attorney. She earned her undergraduate degree in Business from Texas State University and her J.D. from South Texas College of Law in 2015. Kristen is a certified mediator licensed to practice in Texas state courts and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas. Before personal injury law, she practiced high-net-worth divorce, estate planning, and contested probate.

At the firm, she leads litigation efforts including motions drafting, depositions, settlement negotiations, and trial work, and supervises pre-litigation teams. She has particular experience with traumatic brain injury cases. Kristen has been named to the Top 40 Under 40 multiple times, recognized by Lawyers of Distinction, and selected as a 2025 Texas Rising Star Super Lawyer. She is an active member of the Houston Young Lawyers Association, Houston Trial Lawyers Association, Texas Trial Lawyers Association, the Academy of Truck Accident Attorneys, and the American Association of Justice.
