Leah Edelstein

Leah M. Edelstein is an Associate at Wapner Newman and has been with the firm since 2021. She focuses her practice on plaintiff's medical malpractice and also litigates personal injury cases involving civil sexual assault, premises liability, wrongful death, and other catastrophic injuries. She clerked for the Honorable Arnold L. New in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas Civil Division with an emphasis on mass torts litigation. She earned her Bachelor's degree from the University of Delaware in 2018 and her J.D. from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law in 2021.

She is licensed in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. She serves as Vice President of the Villanova Law Young Alumni Board and is a member of the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association and the New Jersey Association for Justice. She has been recognized as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2023 and 2024 and was named to The Legal Intelligencer's 2023 'Lawyers on the Fast Track' list. She is a fourth-generation attorney practicing in Philadelphia, where her family has been in practice since the 1920s.
