Marc Brecher

Marc G. Brecher has been practicing law since 1977 and has been with Wapner Newman since 1985. He earned his Bachelor's degree from Albright College in 1973 and his law degree from Temple University in 1977. He began his career as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Murray L. Goldman in the Court of Common Pleas of Philadelphia County, then served as Director of Legal Services for the Berks County Bar Association, and later joined the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General, where he served until 1985 and left as Senior Deputy Attorney General. Since joining Wapner Newman, his practice has focused on medical malpractice litigation, with a particular emphasis on obstetrical malpractice, failure to diagnose cancer, emergency room malpractice, surgery mistakes, and diagnosis errors.

He has obtained multimillion dollar results for clients in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware. He served as Managing Partner from 2009 until 2022, when he became of counsel. He has been recognized as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer in Philadelphia Magazine since 2004, is listed among the National Trial Lawyers Association's Top 100, and holds a Martindale-Hubbell AV rating. He is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States.
