Maria Merman

Maria Merman is a Partner at Ankin Law in Chicago. A first-generation immigrant born in Moscow, Russia, she relocated to Chicago at age fourteen. She brings both plaintiff and defense experience in personal injury law, having represented seriously injured clients in motor vehicle collisions, slip and fall cases, construction negligence, and medical malpractice matters. After four years in plaintiff work, she briefly worked at a defense firm representing nursing homes and medical professionals before returning to plaintiff representation.
