Micaela De La Cerda

Micaela De La Cerda is the Managing Attorney for Litigation at Batta Fulkerson Law Group. She earned her Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from California Western School of Law in 2015 and also attended San Diego State University. She was admitted to the California bar in 2015. She began her legal career as a defense attorney, working in-house for two of the largest insurance companies in the country, where she litigated hundreds of cases and developed a thorough understanding of how insurance companies evaluate and dispute injury claims.

She later transitioned to plaintiff-side personal injury work and joined Batta Fulkerson, where she oversees litigation. She has also returned to California Western as a coach, helping law students develop trial and advocacy skills. She has been recognized as a Rising Stars honoree by Super Lawyers for 2024 and 2025.
