About Robert Hamparyan

Robert Hamparyan is Of Counsel at Batta Fulkerson Law Group and the founding attorney of Hamparyan Personal Injury Lawyers San Diego, APC. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Southern California in 1987 and a Juris Doctor from Western State University School of Law in 1994. He was admitted to the California bar in 1996 and to the U.S. District Court, Southern and Central Districts of California in 1995. He began his career working for insurance companies, learning defense strategies from the inside before shifting to plaintiff-side personal injury work.

He has since become one of California's most decorated trial attorneys, earning the Trial Lawyer of the Year Award from the San Diego Trial Lawyers Association in 2008, the San Diego County Top Attorney Award from 2009 to 2017, and Super Lawyer recognition every year from 2009 to 2026, including Top 10 rankings in 2024, 2025, and 2026. He is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) and an inductee of the American College of Trial Lawyers (ACTL). His firm's reported case results include a $13.3 million recovery for a client injured in a head-on collision.
