Ryan Terril

Ryan Terril is a trial attorney who collaborates with Cullan & Cullan LLC on major cases, admitted to practice in Missouri and Kansas. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business from the University of Missouri, Columbia, and a J.D. from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law. While in law school, he clerked for Max VonErdsmannsdorff and then for the Law Offices of Dr. Samuel K. Cullan. Terril founded the Terril Law Firm in 1996 and has practiced law for more than 20 years, continuing to collaborate with the Cullan firm on major trials.

He focuses on medical malpractice, birth injury, personal injury, and catastrophic injury cases. Terril, together with Dr. Sam Cullan, holds the record for the largest Missouri medical malpractice verdict in a birth injury and brachial plexus injury case, and separately holds the record for the largest verdict in a medical malpractice case involving a surgical sponge left in a patient. He has been voted Best of the Bar and named a Super Lawyer in Missouri by his peers each year from 2009 through 2019, and is a member of the American Association for Justice, the Kansas Bar Association, the Missouri Bar Association, the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys, and the Clay County Bar Association.
