About Lauren Dollar
Lauren Dollar focuses on sexual abuse cases, child fatality cases, and catastrophic injury litigation. She previously served as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney in the Jackson County Special Victims Unit and as a law clerk at the U.S. District Courts, giving her direct experience with the overlap between criminal and civil proceedings. A Jasper County, Missouri jury awarded the family of 23-year-old Sevie Davison $20 million after a head-on crash on Highway 43 in February 2021. The driver, who was unlicensed and had methamphetamine in his blood, crossed the center line after forcing other vehicles off the road. He had admitted fault and the trial contested impairment. The award was $15 million in compensatory damages and $5 million for aggravating circumstances.
