About Lauren Dollar

Lauren Dollar focuses on sexual abuse cases, child fatality cases, and catastrophic injury litigation. She previously served as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney in the Jackson County Special Victims Unit and as a law clerk at the U.S. District Courts, giving her direct experience with the overlap between criminal and civil proceedings. In Geiger v. McWhirt, a jury awarded her clients $50 million for the wrongful death of an 8-year-old boy and injuries to his 6-year-old sister who survived the crash.

She has also secured millions through confidential settlements for sexual abuse victims. Lauren serves on the Board of Directors of the Child Protection Center and has received the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association Young Lawyer of the Year Award (2024) and Missouri Lawyers Media Women's Justice Award (2024). She is a summa cum laude graduate of UMKC School of Law.
