About Jill Kanatzar

Jill Kanatzar is one of the most respected trial attorneys in the region handling sexual abuse, child injury, wrongful death, and nursing home abuse cases, with more than 30 years of experience in this area. Before joining the firm, she served as an assistant prosecuting attorney in Jackson County, Missouri, spending the majority of her tenure in the Child Abuse and Sex Crimes Unit. She currently sits on the 16th Circuit Judicial Commission -- which nominates candidates for appointment to the Jackson County bench -- and was appointed by the Missouri Supreme Court to its Advisory Committee, where she serves as Chief Hearing Officer in lawyer disciplinary proceedings. Jill has also served as chair of the Missouri Supreme Court Regional Disciplinary Committee and chair of the Jackson County Child Sexual Abuse Task Force.
