About Kathy Farinas

Kathy Farinas is a Partner at Dean Omar Branham Shirley, LLP and manages the firm's Indianapolis office. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from Indiana University in 1994 and her law degree from Valparaiso School of Law in 1997. Farinas has practiced plaintiff litigation since 1997, focusing on toxic exposure injuries including asbestos-related disease, environmental exposures, mass tort litigation, medical device litigation, and pharmaceutical liability.

In 2011 she co-founded George and Farinas, LLP in Indianapolis before joining DOBS, where she coordinates medical expert strategy for asbestos disease cases. She is admitted in Indiana and multiple federal district courts and has been admitted pro hac vice in numerous additional states. Her practice spans catastrophic injury, civil rights, and complex tort cases, and she has achieved multi-million dollar recoveries for clients with mesothelioma and asbestos-related injuries.
