Ryan Weltz

Ryan D. Weltz is a workers' compensation attorney at Edelman & Thompson in Kansas City, licensed to practice in both Missouri and Kansas.

Before joining Edelman & Thompson, Weltz spent two decades as a workers' compensation defense attorney representing insurers and employers. This background gives him insight into claims investigation and insurer practices, which he now leverages to represent injured workers in Missouri and Kansas.

He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Kansas Law School, where he earned first place in the school's annual Moot Court competition. He also worked in the university's free Legal Aid Clinic during law school.
