About Margret Brown

Margret Brown grew up in Lubbock and Littlefield, Texas. She earned multiple bachelor's degrees in English, History, and Political Science from Texas Tech University in 2019, followed by a Master of Fine Arts in writing from Bennington College in 2022. Before law school, she worked in the Texas body shop industry and served as a radio producer and newscaster for KFYO at Townsquare Media. Margret graduated from Texas Tech University School of Law in 2025 with a specialization in Energy Law, earning top grades in Legal Writing, International Business Transactions, Wind and Solar, and Texas Land Titles. Texas Tech recognized her with its Excellence in Volunteering award for more than 200 hours of community service in a single year.
