Elaine Owens

Elaine M. Owens is a Workers' Compensation Attorney at Farah & Farah's Orlando, Florida office, where she represents injured workers across Central Florida. Firm leadership describes her approach as thoughtful and detail-oriented, with a deep commitment to standing up for clients in the workers' compensation system.

Before joining Farah & Farah, Owens spent ten years in public sector roles focused on community services and housing development, then worked as a public defender. She transitioned to workers' compensation law and spent several years on the defense side representing insurance companies and employers before moving to plaintiffs' representation — experience that informs how she anticipates and counters defense strategy on behalf of her clients.

Owens earned her B.A. in Criminal Justice from the University of West Florida, an M.A. in Public Administration from the University of Central Florida, and her J.D. from Barry University Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law. She is a member of The Florida Bar (#1011071) and the Florida Bar Workers' Compensation Section.
