About Ralph Jacobson

Ralph L. Jacobson is a founder and Of Counsel partner at GJEL Accident Attorneys, which he co-founded with Andy Gillin in 1972. With more than 30 years concentrated on personal injury practice, he has helped build the firm's 40-plus year, $600 million track record of success on behalf of injured plaintiffs in Northern California.

Jacobson received his law degree from Stanford Law School in 1969. He was admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California in 1970 and the U.S. Supreme Court in 1989.

He has authored numerous articles for the CEB Civil Litigation Reporter, a leading professional journal — one of which was cited by the California Supreme Court in an opinion. He has served as a consultant to Bancroft Whitney for its California Civil Practice Series and has lectured to attorneys throughout California on personal injury law and court procedures.
