John Acken

John Louis Acken is a Partner in the South Sound offices of GLP Attorneys and has been exclusively representing victims of personal injury for nearly 25 years.

John is admitted to practice in the states of Washington, Florida, Maine, and New Hampshire. Since 2008, he has been Board Certified by the Florida Bar as an Expert in Civil Trial Law, which is the highest level of recognition by The Florida Bar regarding an attorney’s special knowledge, skills, proficiency, professionalism, character, and ethics in Civil Trial practice.

John remains active in the local community and has been a member of Rotary International over 25 years. He is a past Member of the Board of Directors for the Haines City Rotary Club and is a current member of the Gig Harbor Midday Rotary Club.
