Judy Blackwell

Judy Blackwell is a Senior Attorney at Hasner Law in Atlanta, Georgia. She has decades of experience in workplace and personal injury law, including extensive judicial experience as an Administrative Law Judge who presided over more than 500 cases.

Blackwell started her career in Albany, Georgia, and established her Atlanta practice in 1986. She initially specialized in workers' compensation defense before transitioning. She became Partner at a prominent Atlanta law firm in 2000, leading the Workers' Compensation practice group. She also served as Assistant General Counsel for Atlanta Public Schools.

She earned both her Bachelor's degree and Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia, both with honors.

She is admitted to the State Bar of Georgia. She is a member of the State Bar of Georgia Workers' Compensation Section, Georgia Injured Workers' Advocates, and is a Fellow of the College of Workers' Compensation Lawyers (Class of 2023).
