Charles Herrmann

Charles Herrmann is the Owner and Chairman of Herrmann Law Group in Seattle, Washington, with 47 years of legal experience. He serves as senior litigator in the firm's wrongful death and personal injury division, with particular focus on major aviation disaster cases. A Vietnam veteran who served as an Engineer Advisor with the 5th Vietnamese Ranger Group and left the Army as a Captain, he began his civilian career as a Pierce County Deputy Sheriff and investigator in the White-Collar Crime Unit of the Prosecuting Attorney's Office before being appointed Deputy Prosecuting Attorney. He established HLG's reputation as a preeminent aviation firm by representing families of 89 victims of Korean Air Flight KAL 007 (shot down by a Soviet MIG in 1983) and currently leads representation of 50 victim families in the Lion Air JT 610 and Ethiopian Airlines ET 302 crashes. He graduated from Gonzaga University School of Law in 1975, winning the Dean's Medal for Legal Argument.
