Emma Van Ginneken

Emma Van Ginneken is an Associate Attorney at HHJ Trial Attorneys in San Diego, California, where she serves as a skilled and compassionate advocate for clients facing catastrophic personal injuries, medical malpractice, and workplace discrimination. She earned her Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law, where she earned a Distinguished Advocate Award for her opening statement in the Gafford Trial Competition during her first year. She refined her trial skills competing nationally in the Texas Young Lawyers Trial Competition, South Texas Mock Trial Competition, ABA Arbitration Competition, and National Criminal Trial Advocacy Competition, helping her teams reach semi-finalist positions. While in law school, Van Ginneken worked as a law clerk at Hamparyan Personal Injury Lawyers handling catastrophic injury matters and served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Karen S. Crawford of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California. She joined HHJ as a law clerk in 2022 and was promoted to Associate Attorney after passing the bar.
