About Michael Waddell

Michael Waddell is an attorney at Injury Law Associates in Kansas City. He represents injury victims against insurance companies, leveraging his extensive experience on the defense side.

Waddell began his career as a bankruptcy litigator in Wichita, Kansas, then transitioned to trial law at an insurance defense firm after relocating to Kansas City in 1990. He spent nearly 25 years as in-house counsel for two insurance companies, where he defended the companies and their customers in all forms of personal injury cases.

Throughout his career, he has tried over 40 jury trials and 50+ bench trials, and has argued before the Kansas and Missouri Courts of Appeals as well as the Kansas Supreme Court.

Waddell earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Kansas School of Law and his Bachelor's degree in Biology with honors from Kearney State College in 1984.

He is admitted to the Missouri and Kansas bars.
