Dakota Eddins

Dakota Eddins is an associate attorney at Kherkher Garcia who joined in 2025. Born and raised in Beaumont, Texas, the son of a respected trial attorney, he earned his B.B.A. in Finance from Lamar University and his J.D. from South Texas College of Law Houston. Before joining Kherkher Garcia, Dakota spent several years representing major insurance companies in complex litigation, including commercial trucking accidents, premises liability, and wrongful death cases.

His background in insurance defense gives him firsthand knowledge of how large corporations and insurance companies evaluate and defend cases. His practice focuses on commercial trucking collisions, industrial accidents, and premises liability. He is licensed in Texas and admitted to the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of Texas, and was named a 2026 Texas Rising Star.
