Laura Aviles

Laura Aviles serves as the lead attorney on the Zantac and Maui Fire litigations at Krause & Kinsman. She brings a decade of active legal practice in Puerto Rico, with a strong background in damages, criminal, labor, and administrative cases. She has gained significant experience navigating complex insurance disputes following Hurricanes Irma and Maria. Laura has successfully managed criminal jury trials, civil cases, administrative disputes, labor law matters, and appeals.

Her client service approach centers on active listening and thorough understanding of each client's individual needs. She earned her J.D. from the Pontifical University of Puerto Rico and her B.A. in Pre-Justice from the University of Puerto Rico. She is admitted to practice in Puerto Rico and is fluent in English and Spanish.
