Monet Duke

Monet L. Duke is a Senior Associate at Krause & Kinsman whose practice focuses on personal injury and mass tort cases. She began her legal career at a large firm in Louisville, Kentucky, concentrating on personal injury, product liability, and insurance matters, before spending nine years in regulatory compliance in the financial services industry. During that period she served as an in-house compliance officer, a compliance consultant helping investment advisory firms register with state regulators and the SEC, and ultimately as a FINRA regulator leading complex examinations of member firms.

Monet earned her J.D. from the University of Illinois College of Law in 2011, graduating cum laude and receiving the Rickert Award for Excellence in Advocacy, the college's most prestigious student honor. She served as a founding member of the Family Advocacy Clinic and externed for two federal judges in the Central District of Illinois. She holds a B.S. from the University of Louisville, where she graduated summa cum laude as a University Honors Scholar.
