Jill Gustafson

Jill Gustafson is Of Counsel at Lawrence, Beirne & Lewis and has devoted 25 years to representing catastrophically injured clients in medical malpractice matters. She initially pursued nursing, earning a degree from Ohio State University and working as a registered nurse at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus before transitioning to law. Her clinical background directly informs her approach to patient advocacy, as she views legal representation as an extension of her nursing career.

Ms. Gustafson represents clients who suffered injuries from the negligence of hospitals, physicians, nurses, and pharmacists. She holds bar admissions in Ohio, Kentucky, and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, and is a member of the American Association for Justice, Ohio Bar Association, and Kentucky Justice Association. She published an article on failure to diagnose heart attack cases in Trial Magazine in 1996.
