Robert Lewis

Robert D. Lewis is a partner at Lawrence, Beirne & Lewis and holds an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell. He focuses primarily on representing children with birth-related brain injuries resulting from labor and delivery negligence, and has successfully litigated cases involving cerebral palsy, perinatal stroke, hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injuries, anesthesia errors, and surgical errors. He serves as current Co-Chair of the American Association for Justice Birth Trauma Litigation Group and is a past Co-Chair of the Medical Negligence Information Exchange Group. Before joining the firm, Mr. Lewis served as a United States Navy officer, clerked for the Honorable William O. Bertelsman (1997 to 1998), and practiced at Frost Brown Todd from 1998 to 2001. He is a past president of the University of Cincinnati College of Law Alumni Association and has been recognized as a Super Lawyer in both Kentucky and Ohio.
