Michael Gilday

Michael D. Gilday is Of Counsel at Lawrence, Beirne & Lewis, where he works alongside his daughter Anne Gilday. He spent over four decades representing injured parties and their families, including 28 years as Chief Hearing Officer for the Southwest Region of the Ohio Industrial Commission, where he adjudicated and settled disputed workers' compensation cases. Since retiring from that role in 2006, he has continued plaintiff representation in negligence matters and served as a mediator in approximately 100 workers' compensation claims.

He joined Lawrence, Beirne & Lewis in 2019. He holds an AV Preeminent peer review rating from Martindale-Hubbell and received the Ohio Academy of Trial Lawyers Outstanding Public Employee of the Year Award in 1982. He is licensed in Ohio and is a member of the Cincinnati Bar Association and Southwest Ohio Trial Lawyers Association.
