About Ted Lorenz

Ted R. Lorenz is the Founder of Lorenz & Lorenz Accident & Injury Lawyers in Austin, Texas, where he focuses exclusively on plaintiffs' personal injury cases — primarily auto and truck accident claims — and has done so since graduating from law school in 2000. He started the firm in 2001 and was joined shortly thereafter by his wife, Lesley Lorenz. The firm has grown from a two-attorney practice to one that represents several thousand clients each year.

Lorenz has earned a number of professional honors. He was named a Texas Rising Star by Thomson Reuters every year from 2006 through 2010, named to the National Trial Lawyers' Top 40 Under 40 and Top 100 Trial Lawyers in America (2015), and is recognized by Best Attorneys of America. He won the Hofheinz Tournament of Champions and earned mock-trial competition honors at the University of Houston Law Center.

Lorenz earned his B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin and his J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center in 2000. He is a member of the Austin Bar Association, the Capital Area Trial Lawyers Association (where he served as Secretary/Treasurer from 2005 to 2007), the American Association for Justice, and the Academy of Truck Accident Attorneys.
