About Adam Satin
Adam R. Satin is a magna cum laude graduate of Suffolk University School of Law, where he served on the Law Review. He has been a partner at Lubin & Meyer since 2004, specializing in medical malpractice and general liability litigation. His cases have generated nearly $300 million in gross verdicts and settlements. Named one of Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly's Lawyers of the Year, he leads the firm's Appellate Department and has won numerous appeals before the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court, First Circuit, and Massachusetts Appeals Court.
Most recently he won $17 million in a jury trial for the death of a woman following elective hernia surgery. In 2023 he won two trials totaling more than $12 million. He is believed to be the only trial attorney in Massachusetts to have obtained two punitive damages awards in medical malpractice cases.
He has also won a $6.1 million settlement for the family of a man killed by an over-served drunk driver and an $8.4 million judgment against a member of clergy who sexually molested a congregant. Admitted to practice in Massachusetts and Rhode Island, he has been listed annually in Super Lawyers since 2012 and selected for Best Lawyers in America each year since 2012. He co-chairs the Annual Personal Injury Conference for Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education.
