Darren Legato

Darren Legato is an Attorney at Marko Law Firm, focusing on general negligence, premises liability, motor vehicle collisions, trucking cases, assault and battery, dog bites, dram shop liability, nursing home abuse, sexual assault, employment discrimination, and product liability.

Legato earned his Juris Doctor from Florida International University in Miami and his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Michigan State University. He is admitted to the Florida Bar (2012), the Michigan Bar (2013), the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan and the District of Columbia, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.

A Macomb, Michigan native, Legato worked as a Certified Legal Intern at the Miami-Dade Public Defenders Office during law school. He initially worked for large insurance defense firms representing Fortune 500 companies before transitioning to plaintiff representation in 2018. He joined Marko Law in 2025 after serving six years as an equity partner at another plaintiff firm.
