Lawrence Gursten

Lawrence E. Gursten is a founding Partner at Michigan Auto Law with over 50 years of practice as a prominent auto accident attorney. He specializes in traumatic brain injury, neck and back injury cases, and Michigan No-Fault insurance litigation.

Gursten earned his Juris Doctor with high distinction from Wayne State University Law School and his undergraduate degree cum laude from Wayne State University. He achieved the highest score on the Michigan Bar Exam.

He initially worked at his father Nat Gursten's law firm before becoming a founding partner of Michigan Auto Law. He has lectured extensively for nearly 40 years and testified before the Michigan Legislature. His honors include Best Lawyers in America (since 2008), Michigan Super Lawyer, Top 100 Trial Lawyer (American Trial Lawyers Association), AV-Rated by Martindale-Hubbell for 25 years, and Avvo Superb Attorney Rating.
