Daimeon Cotton

Daimeon Cotton is a Michigan Workers Compensation Attorney specializing in workers' compensation law and alternative dispute resolution.

Cotton earned his Juris Doctor from Wayne State University Law School in 2011 and a Master of Arts in Dispute Resolution from Wayne State University. He is admitted to the State Bar of Michigan (2011).

Cotton joined Berman & Kaufman in 2026 and serves as an Adjunct Professor at Wayne State University Law School teaching Alternative Dispute Resolution and Negotiation. He also serves as Hearing Officer for Non-Union employee disputes for the City of Detroit and as a mediator at Wayne Mediation Center and 36th District Court. His honors include Michigan Super Lawyers Rising Stars (since 2017), America's Top 100 Bet-the-Company Litigators, and The National Black Lawyers Top 100. He sits on the boards of Crossroads of Michigan and the Wolverine Bar Association.
